To say I've never been on a stage like the one at the Opium Rooms would be fair......a real live & lit up stage with a proper sound check and dancing people!!!!
It was amazing to get picked for BIMM's last Live & Lyrical show of the year and I have to give a big shout out to Rebecca & Sophie who provided the amazing backing vocals and dance routine and to Decy for the nimble drumming.....they all made it special!

I can't believe its my last day at BIMM.....I'm going to miss my BIMM family lots! We've had a year of musical adventures with highs and lows along the way. So many songs written some well worth forgetting, but, others that I hope will live on in one way or the other!

It was real fun playing the Vintage Rooms this week. A full proper set for the first time...its nice to know you have enough songs to entertain people :)

Well.....who knows how this is going to go but its the first day at BIMM Dublin and I'm really looking forward to mainlining creativity over the next year!!!
Whoop whoop Day 1
When you turn up at an open mic you don't expect to be playing with your musical heroes! The Leap Session tonight was absolutely phenomenal!! To say the nerves were kicking in would be a gross understatement when you have Bell X1 sitting straight in front of you!!!! However, luckily there were no hitches and I got to watch the lads play some beautiful tunes too!

Arrived in Doncaster to see Edwina Hayes & Boo Hewerdine and was honoured to be asked to play a song. A great spot for folk music and a lovelier crowd you couldn't get!
